It was nice to visit Portland Japaness Garden when the maple trees showed the best Fall Color.

We were so lucky to have WCCLS Advanture Pass Available for reseving a pass to visit Portland Japaness Garden.

The Flat Garden was designed to show the beauty of each season.

We don't need to be in Kyoto to see the beautiful maple in the natural garden.

The Restorative Art of Naoko Fukumara, Kintsugi, happens to be available in the Pavilion Gallery.

Kintsugi is an unique method of mending damaged objects with urushi lacqurer then during the repaired seams with gold.

這次到訪波特蘭日式庭園用的是兩個月前預約的圖書館探險通行證，剛好到訪的時候還有日本金繼的漆器展示。

很難想像原本可能因為破損而被遺棄的器皿，因為特殊的修復技藝，又被賦予新的生命。

到訪這天雖然是陰天，但不用到京都就能看到的楓紅讓我們不停地用手機拍照，結果忘了帶行動電源，最後只能用眼睛不能繼續狂拍。

最後就用長年展示的盆栽照來結束日式庭園短暫行程吧！
