Merry Christmas and joyful Happy New Year!

I am so glad to hang out with my friends and exchange gifts.

Mid-Autumn Festival is an important holiday for me when I was in Taiwan. Not only I can get days off but also I will enjoy BBQ time  with my family.

Even I wasn't able to visit my family this summer, I got myself moon cake as comfort food for Mid-Autumn Festival.

Started on Dec 15 to New Year's Eve, the most popular Christmas lighting event is back at Peacock Lane.

You can take a walk to this beautiful neighbor for Christmas displays.

Right after I relocated myself into new apartment, it was time for me to get ready for Christmas vacation. Most of students booked flight tickets for Christmas vacation. Normally I would be on the same boat to fly home for a short visit, but this time I spent my vacation in Hood River just like what I used to do in the past. Of course, we went out to see those pretty Christmas lights in town.

This one is always the best one in my mind! It is The Oak Street Hotel. They did lots of hard work to make the result so pretty!

After back to back winter storms, it is time to say goodbye to 2016.

中秋節前夕的週末，陸續在臉書上看到好友們貼上烤肉的照片，雖然人不在台灣，不過還是團購了綠豆椪想要感受一下過節的氣氛。
和家人通話時有些擔心颱風對南部的影響，但是聽到他們還是有準備要中秋烤肉，就有點放心了。

This is my fifth time to have Chinese New Year in the US.

今年應該是第五度沒在台灣和家人一起過農曆年，雖然已經漸漸習慣沒和大夥一塊圍爐的日子，可是我也是有看到舞龍舞獅的精彩表演，當然也沒忘了去廟裡上香祈福，希望新的一年大家都能平安喜悅，諸事大吉。

Thanksgiving Day is a holiday celebrated in the United States.

Each year on the fourth Thursday in November, Americans gather for a day of feasting and family. I am glad that I can come back Hood River to stay with my host family. 

When the weather is getting cold, I always start to counting down the days to get together with my host family.

ven I am too old for going trick-or treating, I still enjoy to walk around and see those halloween decorations.

When I take a walk in my neighborhood, I found this one. They must put effort into decorating.

When someone is talking about Easter, the first thing coming to my mind is egg hunting.
It took a lot of time to prepare those eggs, but kids are during spring break, so blowing eggs and dying eggs can keep them busy for a while.

Thanksgiving Day is a big day for family to be together and have a wonderful time.
I am so luck to get three invitations for Thanksgiving Dinner.

It's time to exchange Christmas Gifts, and you can see last minutes gift sale in different stores.

When I saw the word on the t-shirt, I can't control my self to stop laughing, but I didn't buy it.

This Fall term is the most difficult term to me, but I have good friends to help me release the stress.

This is my second time to see the firwork on Independence Day.
 
I went my friend's place to see a firework display. She lives on 23 floor. The night view was so good, but the weather was a little chilly on July 4th.

Few days ago I sent out those cards for happy mother's day.

Since studying abroad, this is second time I can't be with my mother on mother's day. I still want her to know that I miss her love her.

I like to go window shopping just for fun and take some pictures before Christmas.

Rise of The Guardians (3D) is a popular movie for Adults and children. I enjoy the time to watch this 3D movie.
There are several important roles in this movie. They are stars in children's mind. For examples, Santa, Easter Bonny, Tooth fairy, and Jack.
感恩節假期看了部三Ｄ電影，電影院內好多小朋友，但我覺得這部電影是大人小孩能同歡的選擇，小孩們相信的聖誕老人，復活節兔子，牙仙子。。

The forth Thu in November is Thanksgiving Day. The school will be closed, but we had thansgiving dinner on Wed.
Most of my classmates went home before Thanksgiving day, and I was invited to international students' Thanksgiving dinner, but I don't know what kind of food I need to take with me, and then I decide to stay with my friends.
