When I noticed those yellow daffodil flowers coming out, it iw the first sign of spring to me.

After daylight saving time, the daffodils started bloomsing. 

Multnomah Falls is a famous waterfall in the Columbia River Gorge.

Few weeks ago my friend and I revisited Multnomah Falls after we attended Grandma's funel in Hood River.

We found that is celebrating it's 100 years in this area, and we happened to know this place almost for 30 years.  

Autumn events included pumpkin patches and corn mazes.

Yesteryear farms got big and small corn mazes.

When the Fall Term starts, mostly Sunny days are not available like summer time.

Fortunately, we are able to enjoy the sunshine when visiting Leach Botanical Garden.

At the end of last summer, I went to visit Pittock Mansion as known as Portland's Finest Historic House Museum.

This year, I was able to revisit this place when the flowers were blooming.

Chun Shui Tang is famous for pearl milk tea.

We were lucky enought to get available seats during busy weekend.

When you want to have a place to keep your mind clean, you might want to spend time in Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum.

There is a shuttle bus available from the high speed rail station, and you can also drive to this museum.

When the spring term grading was done, it would be glad to be out of town.

It was so nice to see flower blooming.

The winter storm made campus close early or open late.

Right before the Fall term starts I was lucky enough to have snowskin mooncake from my friends. She was thinking about potluck ideas to share the culture from our country, and she ended up making something realted to Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. The feedback from my american friend was not too sweet. To me it tastes just right. Thanks for sharing the ice mooncake with me. 

Zhongzi is a traditional food for Dragon Boat Festival. I am so lucky that my friend gave me two zhongzi two weeks ago,

She wants to know if I like it. I told her that I did not try yet since I want to save it until Dragon Boat Festival.  

There is an old saying " April showers bring May flowers”

This April, I walk in the rain a lot since the sky is turning cloudy after chilly morning temperture sets in.

Spring break starts with cherry blossoms.

There are several spots available for Cherry Blossoms in Portland, and Tom McCall Waterfront Park is the closest one to me.

The winter storm made the city almost back to lock down mode.

Campus closed early since Wed evening through Friday, February 24, due to inclement weather.

It feels good when I know that I got a care package coming soon.

When the tracking number shows the package was delivered, I keep waiting for the package notification from my apartment.

Writing the New Year's Resolution was one of the assignment when I was a child.

My new year's resolution is to exercise at least once a week so I can get in shape.

Due to the inclement weather, it is better and safer to stay put for the holiday season.

My university sent out an Alert message : 

Campus will be closed on Friday, December 23, 2022 due to expected inclement weather.
