When cherry blossoms blooming in Waterfront Park, it is time to take a walk without heavy coat in downtown Portland.

This thermal evaporator was broken last term, and I felt the end of the world at that day.
To take the system apart only needs few hours, but to put it back to working condition needs several months.

When the winter ice storm came, we got a lot of snow.
The campus will remain closed due to weather and road conditions. Therefore, we had a long weekend.

Since
winter storm is coming to Northwest Oregon, our campus closes at 2pm this afternoon.
When I was in Taiwan, I only got " typhoon day off". Now I got " Winter Storm day off", and most of students head home as soon as possible.

When we order pizza from papa Murphy's Take N Bake Pizza, we also got their cookie Dough with Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chip.
It is very easy to make Chocolate Chip Cookie in ten minutes.

I got several messages from my family and friends on my birthday. It made my day happier for two days, including TW time zone and US time zone on my birthday.
My final take home exam makes me so nervous, but you guys bring me joy.

When I was in Taiwan during my summer break, we had food cooking on a charcoal grill.
I really liked to have this kind of food, but I didn't want to have too much meat; therefore we put a lot of different vegetables on the plate.

This summer is quite busy for me to doing some researches in the lab. After I saw a rainbow this morning, I find that I am in good mood.
When the bright sun lit up the grass, I felt that everything will be ok~ especially I am going to have a vacation to go home!

There is always a long line in front of Voodoo Doughnut. Therefore, My friend and I wait for 30 mins to get out doughnut. We wants to find out what's the magic inside the hole. ( The answer is different jam inside our doughnut.)
As you can see a lot of doughnuts cooling down on a four-wheeler because the store has a lot of customers.

My friend had surgery on Wed, and I went to visit her this afternoon. She is doing ok, and she may be able to go home on Monday.
From her room, I can see a helicopter pad.

This is a new building on-campus, and I am so glad to move in this building in summer term.
因為原先的住宿和約到期，若要續住的話夏季和秋季的房間會有變動，為了不要短時間內搬兩次家這次直接搬到環境頗佳的新大樓！

It's final exam week, and I was thinking about my final exam before I quit my job.
重返校園面對即將來臨的期末考卻讓我回想到在曾經在職場經歷的期末考，也許你會問我職場不是就把主管交代的工作順利完成哪來的期末考，可是當你再同一個工作待久了， 隨著工作負荷變重，也是會有些自行發展出讓工作效率提高的小技巧， 所以要離職前交接的那段期間彷彿是在作職場的期末考 ，至於考些啥就聽我娓娓道來吧！

It's an unexpected damage in today's labr.
There was no one around the machine, but the strange voice had our attention. Suddenly we could smell something burning, then we pushed the emergency stop to shut down the equipment.
We were scared before we found out what happened. The good thing was the professor in the lab; therefore he couldn't blame on his students.

There is no farmer market in winter term. If I want to buy some fruit or food, I would have to go to different stores.
It depends on what kind of food I would like to buy. It is easy to find originic food in Trader Joe's or Whole Food.
I like to go shopping at Trade Joe's. Not only they have good price,but also the quility is good.

During Spring Break, I went to movie theater to watch G I Joe.
It is a 3D movie, and I enjoyed it.
雖然沒看過特種部隊第一集，但是趁著春假的時候看了特種部隊第二集，因為緊湊又刺激的劇情讓我一時忘了手邊的爆米花，散場時還留了壹堆爆米花帶回家吃。

Step one, wash one tangerine, and cut it around one-third from the top.
