About the Following Ten Years
I try to make a plan for myself. I am going to get advanced studying in graduate school if the Physics Department accepts my application. Before my class starts in Sep. I have to take TOEFL Test in this spring and GRE test in this summer. After I get my master degree, I’ll have chance to find a better job in Taiwan.
First of all, I need to work on those application papers. There are 2 pockets for me to prepare, one is for Admissions Office and another is for Physics Department. Because I was a student long time ago, it’s not easy to go back campus especially in foreign country. Not only the language is different from my hometown, but also the culture is not the same. Since I came here, I told myself if I could do my best, then I would get master degree in 2 years.
After I finish those documents, I will send them to the school. I have been focusing on TOFEL Test scheduled on March 3,2012. I knew that my grammar and writing are not good enough, so I will have practiced more than other students. Maybe my age is getting older, and my memory is not as good as young people. But I find out if I work hard, I could get high grade. In fact, try to speak in English without thinking in Chinese sometimes makes me feel confused. How to write in English is another challenge waiting for me to face. I am going to write more English in my notebook, and I should only use English to take note. Hope I can get high grades in TOEFL test.
According to Physics Department’s requirement for GRE, I am going to take some classes in other school, and hopefully it can help me to know how to prepare for GRE test. To me Mathematics is not so hard, but I have to understand the question, or I won’t get the points. GRE is much harder than TOFEL, and I found out some vocabularies in the textbook what I never used or read before. To have a group studying is my next step, it would give me some information form other classmates.
So far I am doing ok, and perhaps I need to take more than 2 years to get mater degree in Physics Department, but my final goal is almost there waiting for me to catch. I want to make my dream come true in the future. If I can make it, my parents will feel proud of me. When I finish my studying in U.S.A., I hope to get a more senior employment position, where I can use my knowledge and experience gained during my education in U.S.A.
P.S. My teacher wrote to me: You have some wonderful goals, and you're doing all the right things to achieve them!~ I am so happy to get "A" from her.
