Normally our lab takes some old equipments and turned them into different applications. This time my advisor ordered an new spot welder for me to get my task done.

It was designed for battery spot-welder, and we are used it on a tiny metal workpiece.

To use this tool I need to have some drawing done on Fusion 360 then convert the file to make the supporting part from a 3D printer.

When I noticed those yellow daffodil flowers coming out, it iw the first sign of spring to me.

After daylight saving time, the daffodils started bloomsing. 

Multnomah Falls is a famous waterfall in the Columbia River Gorge.

Few weeks ago my friend and I revisited Multnomah Falls after we attended Grandma's funel in Hood River.

We found that is celebrating it's 100 years in this area, and we happened to know this place almost for 30 years.

Time flies so fast. It is time to say hello to new year.

This winter break I was able to take some rest and get ready for the new coming term.

Since the partly clody cinditions show on the weather forecast, I would like to take a walk when the mostly sunny noon is available.

為了不要冬季憂鬱，當午後的陽光短暫的出現時，就是我該午後散步的時候了，不然一食睏就又賴在室內不出門！

Normally I feel my eyes become heavy after eating, a little bit of walking can help bring my energy back.

It was so nice when friends remember to make times available for giving me some early birthday treats.

Pork Chop with rice was the first birthday treat.

It was nice to visit Portland Japaness Garden when the maple trees showed the best Fall Color.

We were so lucky to have WCCLS Advanture Pass Available for reseving a pass to visit Portland Japaness Garden.

Tualatin Hills Nature Park is located in the heart of Beaverton.

If you are driving to this park,  there are free parking space available. There is a sign to remind people do not leave valuable items in the car.  

Autumn events included pumpkin patches and corn mazes.

Yesteryear farms got big and small corn mazes.

When the Fall Term starts, mostly Sunny days are not available like summer time.

Fortunately, we are able to enjoy the sunshine when visiting Leach Botanical Garden.

It was nice to step away from work and enjoy the natural while hiking in Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Wahclella Falls.

I know how important to make work life balance well; therefore to take a break from the lab is necessary.
