Even in the early spring the weather conditions are particularly bad, especially to knock all cherry blossoms away.

Using 3D Printer Made Supporting Piece for a Spot Welder
Normally our lab takes some old equipments and turned them into different applications. This time my advisor ordered an new spot welder for me to get my task done.
It was designed for battery spot-welder, and we are used it on a tiny metal workpiece.
To use this tool I need to have some drawing done on Fusion 360 then convert the file to make the supporting part from a 3D printer.

When I noticed those yellow daffodil flowers coming out, it iw the first sign of spring to me.
After daylight saving time, the daffodils started bloomsing.

Multnomah Falls
Multnomah Falls is a famous waterfall in the Columbia River Gorge.
Few weeks ago my friend and I revisited Multnomah Falls after we attended Grandma's funel in Hood River.
We found that is celebrating it's 100 years in this area, and we happened to know this place almost for 30 years.

In Loving Memory
Time flies, we knew each other for 30 years. When I was a teenager, you were a quinquagenarian. You had lots of energy to show us around, and we were able to walk for longer distances together.
When you turn into an octogenarian, things slow down. I tried to visit you when I had longer break or weekend. Otherwise, I got used to checking in with you once a while. There were times I took pictures of you when you did not pay attention. Those moments were bittersweet. The first time you hold the youngest grand grand daughter in your arms. You had a very satisfied smile on your face. The moment that you got a pedicure and I took a picture of you. You would complain that your neck was not showing in the photo.
It is so hard to say goodbye in person, but I know for sure that we had good memories together. I can't believe you are gone. At least now you have no pain and no more insulin needed. When you are surrounded with your lovely family and pets in the heaven, your spiritual still stay with me in my mind. Love yo uand miss you forever.

Good Reasons to Take a Walk in the Afternoon
Since the partly clody cinditions show on the weather forecast, I would like to take a walk when the mostly sunny noon is available.
為了不要冬季憂鬱，當午後的陽光短暫的出現時，就是我該午後散步的時候了，不然一食睏就又賴在室內不出門！
Normally I feel my eyes become heavy after eating, a little bit of walking can help bring my energy back.

Portland Japanese Garden With Autumn Colour
It was nice to visit Portland Japaness Garden when the maple trees showed the best Fall Color.

Oregon Museum of Science and Industry
As a Bank of America card holder, I was able to get free general admission to visit the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry last Sunday.

Tualatin Hills Nature Park
Tualatin Hills Nature Park is located in the heart of Beaverton.
If you are driving to this park, there are free parking space available. There is a sign to remind people do not leave valuable items in the car.

Leach Botanical Garden
When the Fall Term starts, mostly Sunny days are not available like summer time.
Fortunately, we are able to enjoy the sunshine when visiting Leach Botanical Garden.
