Multnomah Fall is a beautiful landmark along I-84 in Oregon.
The hike trail to the top of Falls is not very far away from the information center. We spent less than one hour to get on the top.
If the weather is nice, you could have very good chance to see the beautiful view of the Columbia River.
The only thing for you to keep in mind id the parking space is limited. If you want to go to Multnomah Fall by driving a car, it is better to get up as early as possible.
We went there with our interential students by taking a bus, we were able to get a parking spot even it showed the parking lot was full.
The hike to the waterfall was easy to me. We only took water battle with us, and we left our lunchbox in the bus to reduce heavy loading in the backpack.
On our way back to school, we also stop by crown point. The bus just stoped at the crown point for us to take a group picture, and we spent less than 30 mins to take a look what is inside the crown,
p.s.
If you only want to spend half day to be out of town, this is a good place to be on your list.
