Most of time I stay home to prepare the class or just take a walk in my area, but this weekend I try the Urban Hiking in Portland with my friend.

After parking the car, we started to hike in Forest Park.

Forest Park stretches more than seven miles of Northwest Portland along the eastern slope of the Tualatin Mountains.

在這個有山有水的城市住了將近五年，卻沒有去山裡健行過，實在讓友人無法置信，所以這個週末趁無雨也無豔陽，當然就沒有藉口逃避健行的邀約，本來菜鳥如我只戴了帽子又穿了球鞋，被朋友要求換上有點重量且能保護腳環的短靴，原來是山區有些泥濘怕穿慢跑鞋抓地力不夠會有危險。

其實我上次到山裡踏青應該是還在台灣工作的時候，那時也穿牛仔褲上山，不過兩地的風景完全不同，今天這樣一個下午走來有些疲憊，不過卻讓我多了一個可以身心放鬆的好地方，若是你對自己的腳程有信心，波特蘭近郊很多規劃完整的健行步道等著你我一起去發掘喔！
