At the end of last summer, I went to visit Pittock Mansion as known as Portland's Finest Historic House Museum.

This year, I was able to revisit this place when the flowers were blooming.

It is always interesting to see what old generation used in this historic house.

It maight be multitasking required when working in this kitchen. Five stoves burner and ovens were found in both buildings' cooking area.

The handle was used on the flour sifters for a smooth powdery texture when making cookies or cakes.

WCCLS Adventure Pass is really useful when you want to check out an experience near your area.

去年暑假的尾聲我第一次到訪這個有點年代的富貴人家豪宅，當時已經接近夏末初秋，只有從高處房間內的窗戶看到遠處波特蘭的市景，

這次八月底的到訪有看到花園裡的櫛瓜開花，也看到無花果樹正在結果。

雖然這棟建築已經對外開放將近一甲子，也還有部分的房間還是有家族成員居住，整個環境保持的真的很好！

也許下次會趁著不同的季節再用圖書館的卡申請來訪，看看是否會有不一樣的風景。
