Around the end of Lunar New Year is about time for Portland Winter Light Festival to start,Feb. 3–11, 2023.

This year I don't want to go at night since it may be more visitors around.

It feels good when I know that I got a care package coming soon.

When the tracking number shows the package was delivered, I keep waiting for the package notification from my apartment.

Miao Fa Temple is a Buddish temple , this is a good  place for me to get some blessings when I am feeling down.

每當我需要精神支柱～加油打氣時候，就會想搭公車到廟裏拜拜。

lan Su Chinese Garden is located In old town China town, there's a place to feel peaceful.

Writing the New Year's Resolution was one of the assignment when I was a child.

My new year's resolution is to exercise at least once a week so I can get in shape.

Due to the inclement weather, it is better and safer to stay put for the holiday season.

My university sent out an Alert message : 

Campus will be closed on Friday, December 23, 2022 due to expected inclement weather.

Past years I heard friends talking about how beautiful the zoo light, but I did not have a chance to see it in person. 

This year I was able to join the international student group and enjoyed taking pictures of the zoo lights.

Lucky me to have lots energy for anither year!

On my birthday, I got few text from lab friends. Have an awesome day for sure.

I wasn't able to process the news when I received the audio call on Nov 18th.

May your Thanksgiving be full of peace, love, and joy.

This yeat before Thanksgiving I had a little crazy emotional week, but it was settledown afterword. Therefore, I can accept an invitation to enjoy eating yummy thanksgiving dinner with amazing friends.

The 24 traditional Chinese solar terms states that November 7th is Start of Winter. “立冬”

When I went to a grocery store, I saw lots items not available on the shelf. Things are out of stuck.

Lan Su Chinese Garden is located in downtown of Portland, old town China Town.

If you can't go far , it is good to visit Lan Su Chinese Garden by taking public transpoation.

秋季的時候小朋友最愛的萬聖節即將來臨前，晚上離開實驗室剛好看到校園裡竟然有類似皮影戲的作品，不知道他們是不是想在小孩們來要糖吃之前先嚇嚇小孩呢？

Each time when I need to take a break from research, I always stop by my friend's place.

I am so happy that she makes a bowl of Samgye-tang ( 삼계탕; 蔘鷄湯) for me during a cold raining day.

Time flies, the tree starts to have color changed and the morning fog is getting heavier.

When daylight saving ends, winter blue might be back. ( Daylight saving time 2022 began on March 13 ends on November 6)
