Started from few weeks ago, I was able to notice some fuel smell in my lab, and it turned out to be some oil leaking from a mechanical pump located in my vacuum system.

Since there are various types of mechanucal pumps, I need to take it apart to find out where the issues was.

After carefully drain the oil out of the MP, I was able to see two parts need to be fixed.

Not only the plastic star vibration coupler near the anti-suchback valve was broken, but also equipped lever was disconnected. 

In this case there is nothing wrong with the seal gasket where we assumed something wrong the first place.

If the issuew was from a seal gasket, then I have to measure the size of the gasket to create the DXF file for using in the laser cutter.

When the replacement was order and the broken equipped lever got the metal welding done, I use the laser cutter to make new gasket.

Just in case the gasket might be an issue in the near feature.

前陣子每次走進實驗室總是有聞到些油耗味，但仔細檢查設備卻都沒發現問題，直到在幫浦附近的地上發現有些漏油，所以開始修幫浦的過程。

一開始以為是墊片的問題，但把真空油倒出後將幫浦拆開才知道，不僅防返閥附近的塑膠星形振動耦合器損壞，而且配備的槓桿也斷開。

在這種情況下，密封墊圈沒有任何問題，我們首先假設的墊片不是洩漏源。

不過為了以防萬一，在等待震動耦合器到貨時我還把墊片的尺寸用繪圖軟體輸出ＤＸＦ檔案，再用雷射切割機做了新的墊片。

為了能夠準確的修復幫浦，我先用一個閒置的幫浦練手，接著將真空系統關閉後再拆除了主系統聯接的機械幫浦，才能針對漏油的部分做修理。

只是墊片年和之後需等二十四小時讓他完全黏著，才能將真空油再次倒入幫浦中。

屋漏偏逢連夜雨，不久之後我又發現冬季才組裝完成的測試系統也有機械幫浦漏油，還好連修兩個機械幫浦，這次真的單純是墊片的問題，所以我也寫好了雷射切割機的使用標準操作流程，整個過程處理起來相對駕輕就熟了！
