An Instructor in the Lab @ Grace的進修雜記:)

Start in Fall term, I am a Part Time Instructor in Physics Lab at CCC where is a Two-year college offers academic and career education with campuses in Oregon City, Milwaukie and Wilsonville.

Since it would be more simple for me to work on campus, and I know that I am the one that's pure. I do not like to work in the surround with girls' gossip any more.

In the three hours class section, I will have 20 minutes lecture speech and also walk around the lab to make everything under control.

In the seminar section, I will try to put students in small group then they will spend time to go over those homework assignment. If they need any help, I will try to give some hints. Hopefully they can do it by their own when they are in the final exam.

It is a little bit challenge to me because I did not have Teaching Assistant experience when I was a graduate student, but I do have confidence in the ability of teaching in the lab.

一轉眼已經快要秋季結束了，完全沒有助教經驗的我也在社區大學當講師一季了，從起初的需要長時間備課所以搞得自己緊張兮兮，現在我可以只用上課前一天瀏覽教材，練習指定題後只要在上課前短短的預習就能應付當天的課程，一路走來付出的努力真的是點滴在心頭，很高興在放寒假之前拿到冬季的課表，也有些貼心的學生在最後一堂的實驗筆記裏寫了感謝的話語，我會繼續加油讓學生在實驗課裡可以應證他們課堂上所學的理論，並且期許自己未來的日子裡能和他們一起成長！
