Recipe: 1 cup butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg - separated, 2 cups flour, and 1 tsp vanilla.
The following is how we make Danish Toffee Cookies:
We put one cup butter into microwave for 10 seconds before mixing butter and sugar together.
After butter and sugar are mixed well, we add one cup flour into the mixing bowl. When the mix is well done, we add egg yolk and the other cup of flour into the bowl. Around 10 minutes, I get everything getting together like a Play-Doh .

It is time to put the "Play-Doh" on a cooking sheet.
Greased cookie sheet, and then remember to beat egg white for the next step.
Make sure to cover the cooking sheet well, and then pour the egg white on top of the cooking sheet.
If you have some mixed nuts, you can Sprinkle them on top of the egg white.

Set the oven to 325 Fahrenheit. When the oven reaches 325 Fahrenheit, put the cooking sheet into the oven, and then set the timer for 25 to 30 mins. Right after the cookies become golden brown, take the cookies sheet out and cut into small pieces.

又到了讓人想喝杯熱茶來點手工餅乾的冬季,當然免不了要在廚房玩麵粉,這次的自製餅乾很簡單,只要有一杯奶油,一杯糖,一顆蛋,和兩杯麵粉以及一湯匙的香草精就可以了。

若奶油剛從冰箱拿出不好操做的話,可以先把奶油放到容器內然後以微波爐加熱十到十五秒,接著將一量杯的糖倒入與奶油混合均勻再加入一杯的麵粉,然後將蛋黃加入繼續攪拌,等蛋黃也被麵團吸收後可以再加入另一杯麵粉繼續攪拌到完全看不到粉類為止。
(攪拌的過程中亦可加入一些可可粉讓麵糊有點巧克力味)

烤盤上要先抹上一點點油,然後再將麵團倒入,用手或湯匙把麵團均勻分布到烤盤內,然後再將蛋白倒到麵團上,最後再加入打碎的堅果。
烤箱預熱華氏325,然後當溫度到325的時候,再將烤盤放入烤箱中設定烤餅乾的時間大約二十五到三十分鐘左右,時間一到就要將烤盤移出烤箱,然後用刀子趁熱把餅乾切成想要的大小,因為烤盤的溫度一降低,餅乾就會變硬,到時想要分割成小塊餅乾會有些難度,把餅乾放涼後接著就是成果驗收的時間了,敢緊泡杯熱茶來塊手工餅乾吧!
