As the school starts at the end of last month, we are having events to get more information in different field.

For a note to myself, I would keep writing a summary to have a record of each seminar if I have available time.

Speaker: Bruce Adams

The most interesting thing in this seminar is how parameters change in the process might affect by the measurement of the temperature in the semiconductor system. From what I learned in the Micro-Electronic Device Fabrication, I knew that Ripple tech uses in oxide growth on Silicon for semiconductor and short wavelengths are used for wafer temperature measurements. At that time, I understood that temperature is always a key for the semiconductor field.

What I have learned from the seminar:

Contact and non-contact measurement techniques are useful in different situations.

Ripple technology and the virtual blackbody cavity are important solutions for semiconductor manufactory process.

Physics and engineers need to combine the work together for achieve the best result in the future.

One question I would like to ask is:

Material science is a big field for scientist to get more studying, is there any suggestion for us to avoid error when we are doing some temperature setting change in different system.
