To be honest, I like the spring term the best, not only the weather is getting warmer, but also the lab experiments are having so much fun!

This term the teaching lab is related to waves and optics. (Sometimes we need to work in the dark but we still have good time in the lab.)

以前我們在課堂上會用筷子放在水中透過觀察(筷子在水中折斷了?)去引導學生的學習動機和給予相對的思考方向,這次我們在實驗室做光學實驗,透過繪圖得到角度經過量測和公式應用,得到入射角等於反射角....

還沒關燈之前可以看到平行的入射光,但是是否有散射光就看得不明顯了。

關燈之後隱約看得到平面上有折射的光,就能描繪出入射角和折射角,驗證折射定律!

換個介質(壓克力)再接著做光學實驗,這次是要利用Snell's Law推導出介質的折射率。

Most of the students have good feedback, but some of them get confused about which angle should be used for calculation. Therefore, they need to spend more time to observe before they do the analysis.

At the end, almost everyone has the correct concept of this lab.
