The Internet not only makes everyday life different, but also has some advantages or disadvantages. The benefit is that people can explore the world by using a computer. In the past, the way for them to take a look of other countries was journey to other cities or read a guidebook. Nowadays, they can see pictures to virtually visit other countries around the world. Also, it was hard to buy products made in foreign countries 50 years ago. Thus, the Internet influences globalization in three ways, these are technology, business and information display.

First of all, internet technology makes communication easier than 50 years ago. Therefore, people can get information easier in this world. The Internet gives people a chance to work together. For example, several companies have their branches in foreign countries, via those technologies they can not only pass news, but also to build the database by using new technology. If readers want to find information, they would go to the website instead of visiting the library. An interesting idea from “The Internet and Globalization” Zunairah (2008) states,” The Internet technology is globally integrating and amalgamating the people of the world.” In other words, technology connects people from all over the world. Internet technology brings people closer together.
Secondly, the Internet affects business in the world. For example, shopping on-line makes it very easy to buy any products nowadays, and the distance is no longer a big problem. Almost every product can be found online. Many companies set up their own website to make more money than several years ago. Buyers have more chances to get new information before they purchase new items; however they are not able to know if the product is as good as it shows on the website. In “ World Public Welcome Global Trade- But Not Immigration” Pew Global Attitudes Project (2007) writes, “Support for free markets has increased notably over the past five years in Latin American and Eastern European nations, where increased satisfaction with income and perceptions of personal progress are linked to higher per capita incomes” (p.188). The economy has become better because the Internet connects people and business.

Finally, information display is influenced by the Internet. Since Internet creates the unlimited time and space for some situations, people can listen to other country’s music, and eat fast food which comes from different country. According to “The Internet and Globalization” Zunairah (2008) writes, “We are being influenced by the on rush of economic and ecological forces that demand integration and uniformity and that mesmerize the world with fast music, fast computers and fast food with MTV, Macintosh and McDonald’s.” As a result, people can easily get new music style from internet. Because the music may not play the same instrument in their country, it is a good chance for them to open their mind, and they will have the opportunity to enjoy different music.
In conclusion, globalization of technology, business and information display, which are impacted by the Internet. As a result, the Internet is changing the way the world works right now, and it leads people to an easier and user-friendly world. The economy of companies can continue to grow by upgrading the homepage. Old and new generations can share their experiences by using computer. Both of them can find new information that they might want to know. Because internet is so convenient in everyone’s daily lives, more and more activities can be taken place on the Internet. Moreover, the daily lives are getting some benefits from the Internet.
